Boutique Hotel Cala Mia

The Boutique Hotel Cala Mia is a new, romantic and intimate eco-resort located on the tip of the pristine Boca Brava Island, within the National Marina Park of the Chiriqui Gulf. Cala Mia consists of 11 beautiful villas, each with its own thatched roof rancho. The main building includes the lobby, the restaurant and bar, the observation deck and a swimming pool. Cala Mia offers breathtaking views of the surrounding islands and bays, of the resort’s private beach and the rainforest. Cala Mia's cozy interiors are characterized by home-designed, handcrafted furniture and woodwork of local artisans, combining esthetics, art, quality and functionality into a new standard. The restaurant specializes in Mediterranean cuisine and serves fresh and tasty meals using organic ingredients from the hotel's private vegetable-garden and farm. All the Suites are less than 10 meters from the Pacific Ocean, providing a wonderful view of the ocean. Some of them even have private access to the beach. The airy suites take advantage of the permanent fresh evening breeze, making its ceiling-fans (no A/C) almost unnecessary. You can choose among One-Bedroom Suites with two twin-size beds, One-Bedroom Suites with a king-size bed or Two-Bedroom Suites with a king-size bed and two twin-size beds. They all have ceiling fans and spacious, tastefully decorated bathrooms with a large shower.
